Cant Think Of A Title

I have been a hockey fan for about 20 years now, and my favorite team has always been The New Jersey Devils. Earlier this evening Ethan, E-dog, and I, went to Madison Square Garden to see the Devils play the Rangers. As a Devil fan, navigating the Ranger infested waters of MSG, always makes for an entertaining evening. (Especially when you wear a Devil Jersey) New York fans cannot hold back from getting in your face and screaming "Jersey Sucks" or "Matteau, Matteau"
The Rangers won tonight 2-0, and the Devils played terrible. Its just a sad era to be a Mets, Jets, and Devils fan. I guess its a good thing I have a life.
Tonight is game 2 of the World Series. Boston Vs. Colorado. I always feel bad for the teams that make it to the finals (in any sport) and loose. Its gotta be devastating for a team to have such a seemingly magical season come to a screeching halt.

The picture above was taken once again from a moving vehicle. I'm pretty sure its a random view from Brooklyn Queens Expressway.

BTW: It rained today

Sunday

The lens of my camera phone is cracked, so all the pictures have been coming out blurry. Part of me wants to get a new one, but is that good enough reason to spend $200 on a new phone. In addition, I don't particularly like any of the Verizon phones out (especially not blackberries and such.) So shouldn't I just wait for the next generation Flips to come out?
Technology is moving so quick these days, within 6 months of purchasing my I-MAC, it was already outdated. I'm not complaining, I actually think its amazing how companies like Apple keep making their devices smaller and more efficient.
*So this weekend I purchased the new 80 gig I-Pod. Its sick

Btw: My friend Jon W. took this picture in cape cod. Big Ups! He also won some lute with E-dog this weekend in A.C. . . . . Word.

Brendan Monroe.Com

The artist is 27 year old Brendan Monroe from Berkley California. He's got a lot of great work, both paintings and sculptures. Some of his pieces remind me of Salvador Dali. If your interested, you should pay his website a visit.

Other news:

Lasts nights poker game was a doozy. I finished fourth out of nine. It was quite disappointing, because I had the chip lead for most of the tournament. I had Pocket -7-7- fail me twice.

"And like that, he was gone" U.S.

-Congratulations to Paul H. , the proud winner of the Harvest Crop Tournament 2007

Ideas in mind:

- I'm thinking about getting a new phone.

- Thinking about getting a new I-POD . I decided I dont want the touch. Not enough memory.

- Thinking about a vacation.

-Thinking about buying a soldering iron for metalsmithing.

-Thinking about recording a demo.

Steady As She Goes

I was having trouble sleeping, so I decided to write.
I find myslef sleeping less and less these days, spending alot of time and energy at work.

The indian summer we were having is now over, and we are witnessing autumn at its finest. "It smells so fresh" GK

Recent Interests:

Metalsmithing classes, The New York Mets, and The New Jersey Devils.

Metalsmithing seems to be the most promising extracurricular activity, given that the Mets blew their entire season, and the Devils don't look anything like Stanley Cup contenders.

I've been playing a lot of poker recently... Whats new! tehe. I host a weekly game at my apartment, and the tournaments seem to get more exiting every time we play. The usual players include E-dog, Murray, Compton Ass Terry, Jamie Poker, Israel, Ryan Martin, Dee, and Ethan Jamron, with an occasional visit from Eli, Paul H, and Jesse. I look forward to the weekly gathering for many reasons. First of all, I love the competition, and second; it is a great way to laugh with the boys.

BTW: I took this picture while driving = )
