Woodstock

Upon arival at the Bethel Woods, I was in

shock to find out that they had converted

the original site of Woodstock into a fully

functional, state of the art music and

entertainment pavalion. Last night, Phil

Lesh and Phriends played a concert that was the

second act to ever perform on the brand

new stage. Ashley Simpson was the

first entertainer invited to play Bethel, the night

previous. Plush grass, incredible views, and

crisp sound filled the arena, comparable only

to such venues as Alpine Valley and MSG.

Its nice to finally have a beautifull pavilion only

an hour and a half outside the city. Meanwhile,

the show was great, and everywhere you walked

people were raving about how nice the new

venue looked and how inviting the staff was

in and out of the pavilion. Moreover, we

were lucky enough to have stumbled into

a handicapped section of seats where we

remained for the entire Phil show, and never

questioned to get up once. If you have ever

visited the original site of woodstock, it comes

as quite a surprise to see this new monstrosity.
