CAUGHT IN THE RAIN

I Think i'm going to cancel my trip to Florida for the weekend. It seems to be interfering; plus, my gut says to stay in New York!
so im gonna...

I just got in from a late night walk to Tasti D-Lite. It was closed! Not one, but two Tasti's. Its cool though...

It was kind of drizzling when I left, but It suddenly started to downpour! I had just purchased a fountain soda from Subway, to satisfy my palette-when it happened. I didn't really care that I was getting wet. I just continued walking at that same gingerly pace I started at. It was one of those weird moments where nothing mattered.

When I returned home there was a large group of people gathered in front of my building. They were all wearing WHITE! And struggling to get cabs. I felt bad, but it was kind of comical to see through the girls clothing. haha

Final Conclusion: I dont like Pina coladas, but I sometimes like getting caught in the rain

Oh yea. I found a 10 dollar bill on the ground As I started the walk... obviously wet.

MOUNTAIN "GEM"

The landscape driving into Hunter mountain is what I will remember most. Red rushing rivers, and red waterfalls, as we ascended through the revene. '

This past Sunday, E-dog and I decided too catch the tail end of the "Mountain Jam" festival in Up State New York. Phil Lesh and Friends was the closing act the weekend, but we also went for the vending. Gemstones tickle my fancy, and there are always some around when the hippie festivals come to town.

Since E-dog and I are experts at hippie festivals, we anticipated "getting in for free" The Sunday ticket was $90, and there was no way we were going to pay $90. As we approached the parking area, we noticed people leaving. We rolled down the window and asked a few of them if we could have their bracelets. They politely obliged and ripped the bands from their arms. When we were finally parked, I asked the girl next to us for a band-aid. I knew she had band-aids because she had one straight across her forehead, haha. We used the band-aid to secure the ripped bracelet together and wear it. nice

The sights were beautiful, and so are the gemstones I got. Very nice to get out of the city for a day and "Smell the clean mountain air" E-dog

BTW: We saw Beasley in the crowd, he had a shaved head!

Oh Yea! We also saw a family of Black Bears in the woods!
